The FS12 255nm Short Wave UV Torch Kit is a high-output UV-C torch designed for field mineral identification and fluorescence applications. Emitting 255nm short wave ultraviolet light, it provides the intensity needed to excite fluorescent minerals that do not respond to long wave UV, making it ideal for geological exploration, mineral collecting, and laboratory use. The powerful LED design offers a more portable and convenient alternative to traditional tube-style short wave UV lamps, and is already being used by mining and mineral exploration companies for locating scheelite and other fluorescent minerals.
